Tell us about your journey into the Oregon Laborers, what made you choose to become a construction craft laborer apprentice?
I became a laborer apprentice because I was tired of office jobs, sitting in front of computer screens all day. Made me extremely tired, so I wanted something completely different.

How has being in the apprenticeship program impacted your life?
Being in the apprenticeship program has impacted my life in a very positive way. I have great benefits for my daughter and me. I’m also able to give my daughter a great childhood while saving for her future at the same time.

What advice would you give others who are interested in joining our program or are just starting out?
Have a good attitude, give 100% every day, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Thank you for the endless opportunities!
