1. Applicants will be required to conform to the OSI Laborers Trust Fund’s drug-free workplace policy, which requires participating in and testing negative in a standard substance abuse test.

2. An applicant’s failure to complete or participate in any of the application or selection procedures, or keep the committee informed of their current contact information, will be considered a request to be removed from the pool of eligible applicants, the request will be acknowledged in a written notice from the program to the applicant with the reason restated.

3. Any applicant removed from the application or selection procedure will be encouraged to reapply in the future.

4. Applicants may only submit additional documentation and references for review, at the time of application. Additional submissions after the application has been submitted will not be considered.

5. The program will review all applications and supporting documentation to verify that the applicant meets the minimum age and education qualifications.

6. The program will send a written notice to applicants who do not qualify, which will include the reason(s) for rejection.

7. An applicant’s application is valid for 2 years from the date of application.

8. Applicants will be removed from the pool of eligible applicants and/or ranked list for the following reasons, but not limited to: (1.) The applicant’s request, (2.) The applicant’s failure to keep the committee informed of their current address and telephone number, (3.) The applicant’s failure to respond to an interview invitation, (4.) Any egregious action taken by the applicant.

9. Applicants who are disqualified at any point during the application and selection process do not have appeal rights with the Oregon Laborer’s JATC, but are welcome to reapply in the future.
