Tell us about your journey into the Oregon Laborers, what made you choose to become a construction craft laborer apprentice?
Someone from the Union Hall called me about my flaggers card, they were recruiting non-union flaggers.

How has being in the apprenticeship program impacted your life?
It’s given me an insight into different career paths and provided a stable income for me and my family, along with teaching me skills in the trades.

What advice would you give others who are interested in joining our program or are just starting out?
Don’t be afraid to start. If you have no experience, you’re here to learn. Stick with it. Get involved with the union and attend the meetings.
